IN pursuance of "The Regulation of Elections Act," 1881, I, Alfred Ross, Returning Officer for the electoral district of Rangitikei, do hereby give notice that by virtue of a writ bearing date the 27th day of June, 1884, under the hand of the Clerk of the Writs, an Election will be held for the return of one qualified person to serve as a Member for the said electoral district, and that the nomination of Candidates will take place at the Court-house, Marton, on Wednesday, at noon, on the Hsth day of July, 188-1, and that the poll, if necessary, will be taken at tlie several polling places of the said district on the 22nd day of July, 1884.
