MANCHESTER HIGHWAY BOARD.

A special meeting was held in the j board's office, Manchester-street, on Saturday afternoon last. Present — "Wardens Macarthur (in the chair), Fergusson, Bailey, Liaton and Loudon. Resolved, that the Engineer prepare 3>lans and specifications of the roads marked blue in the plan, according to the Roads and Bridges Construction Act, 1882, and that application be made to the Minister of Public Works for the tnoney to construct the same under said Act. Besolred, that the Kiwitea Highway Board be offered the use of this office to bold their meetings, and also the use of the safe until said Board has a conreni•eat place for meeting. Toe meeting then adjourned.
