A COMPLAINT.
TO THB EDITOB. Sib, — Will you allow me a space in your columns t© open the eyes of the ratepayers of Feilding Borough. I wish to ascertain whether the labour of the Borough roadman is paid from a private purse or from the revenue of the Borough, as, on the 7th of July, I saw the roadman on a private section of one of the Councillors in Manchester- street, when he ought to be on the Borough road. I maintain if that Cocncillor can take the man who is employed and paid by the public for his own private use, he is doing an injustice to the ratepayers, who he is supposed to represent, and the sooner he leaves the Council the better, before he is requested to do so by the public. — I am, etc., Obseeveb.
