I July 10. At the inquest to-day on the body of Ellen Kenny, found in the harbor on Wednesday, a verdict of "found drowned" wab returned. July 11. The casual laborers working on the Queen's Wharf struck this morning, demanding an extra shilling a day. The Harbour Board declined to accede to their request, and held a meeting, when it was decided to employ permanent hands at 42s a week, and also to procure extra labourers, as required, at the rate of Is per hour. Most of the men resumed work this afternoon.
