Mr Tight, of Sydney, and Mr Dent, ex-Mayor of Lambton, have been appointed arbitrators on behalf of the Borehole miners, and Mr Crondace, the colliery manager, and Mr Hidl, merchant, of Newcastle, the arbitrators for the Australian Agricultural Company.
The railway extension from Ncnnndar? 1o Hay was oncned to-day by his Ex cellencr Lord Lofius. Sir John Robertson, Sir Alfred Stephen, the Hon. John Lackey, the Hou. Robert Wisdom, and a large number of distinguished persons were present at the ceremony, which passed off with great rejoicings.
