THE PATUMAHOE BRANCH SE PT EM B Ell M EETIN G The September meeting of the Patumahoe Women's Division was held at Mrs Stichbury’s home when the president, Mrs F. Needham, presided over a fair attendance of members and friends. After the reading of the creed a good deal of general business had to be dealt with. Arrangements for the annual llower the show an even greater success than malioe hall on September 29, were finalised. The Division is indebted to Mr and Mi's Irwin who have presented a silver cup for the winner of most points at the show.' The president, in expressing thanks for this generous gift, said she hoped that competition lor the prize would he keen and so make the show an eevn greater success than it had been in the past. The October meeting will he held in the Patumahoe hall. After a dainty afternoon lea had been served, Mrs Needham thanked Mrs Stichbury for the use of her home and prescnletT Tier with a basket ol fruit and ilowers and a posy. The competitions resulted as follows: Pikelets. Mrs Bull 1. Mrs W'oolsev 2. Mrs Mouldey 3: daffodil, longtrumpet, Mrs Williams 1 and 2, Mrs H. N. McMillan 3: short trumpet, Mrs 11. N. McMillan 1. Mrs Williams 2, Mrs j. Watson 3: best bloom. Mrs A. Watson 1. Mrs L. Johnson 2, Mrs Stichbury 3.
