Mr and Mrs John Allen and family, of Tuakau. are holidaying at Muriwai. Aliss Doreen Chalwiii. of Raglan, is visiting Tuakau and is lhe guest of Mr and .Mrs S. J. Conelly. Bollard Road. Mr and Mrs W. J. Dayman, and family. of Tuakau. who spent the vacation at Mount Maunganui. returned on Sunday. Mrs E. W. Fielder, of Tuakau. who has been a patient in Green Lane Hospital, has been discharged from the institution and returned to her home today. Mr and Mrs C. L. Metge and family, formerly of Pukekohc. spent the holidays at Mount Maunganui. Tauranga. After the holidays they will take up residence in Auckland, Mr Metge having accepted an appointment as a master at the new Normal Intermediate School.

Mi' W. Chapman, of Christchurch, who is playing as lead iri Mr G. G. Spearman’s Christchurch R.S.A. team in the Dominion fours’ howling championship, and Mrs Chapman, weio the guests of Mr and Mrs J. 11. Keith, Paerata Road, Pukekohe, on Sunday. During the afternoon Mr Keith took his guests for a short tour of the Pukekohe district-, which included a visit to the howling green. Mrs Chapman, Uke her husband, plays the game, of howls and Js a member of a ladies’ club in Christchurch.
