DOG REGISTRATION
THE NO COLLAR PROBLEM LABEL OR DISC TO BE ISSUED In view of Hie representations made by local authorities regarding the difficulties experienced in obtaining dog collars, the Department of Internal Affairs advised the Tuakau Town Board al its January meeting that in order to comply with the provisions of the Dogs Registration Act, 1908, amending regulations had been issued which would continue in operation for future registration years while war conditions lasted’

R. D. McGahan, was authorised to ascertain from other local bodies the style of disc or label they were using. Mr J. Armstrong was appointed dog registrar for the ensuing year. The following fees were fixed: Cattle, sheep and. rabbit dogs, 2/6; other dogs, 5/-.
