FROM PUBLIC WORKS ESTIMATES ROADS AND BRIDGES The Franklin County Council was advised-in meeting on Alonday that the following items, totalling £5732 for works in the County had appeared on the Public Works Estimates: — Bishop’s Bridge (Pollok), £125 (£1 for £1) ; Buckingham’s Bridge, £SOO (on account £1 for £1); Geraghty’s Road, £365 (free) ; Happy Valley-Alan-gatawhiri Road, £6BB (free): Harris Road bridges, £IOO (£1 for £1); Lees Gully to Pollok Road, £2OO (on- account. £2 for £1) : Milnes Ford (Aloumoukai), £2OO (£2 for £1) : Morrison’s access road (Orua Bay), £216 (£2 for £1); Old Factory Bridges (RamaramaPaparimu Road), £I2OO (on account £1 for £1) : Otau Valley culvers, 61, 63 64, 65. £2lO (£l. for £1); Patterson’s bridge (Garvie Road). £3Ol (£1 for £1) : Pukeoware station road, £SO (£1 for £1: Tram and Boiler Gully culverts, Awhitu and Orua Bay Roads, £9OO (£1 for £1) : Webb’s access road (Ararimu), £447 (£2 for £1): Land drainage Pokorua lake drainage, £2OO (£2 for £1).
