OTAHUHJ AND PUKEKOHE RAIN MARS THE FIXTURE On Wednesday last the annual winter sports fixtures between the Otahuhu and Pukekohe Technical High Schools were played at Otahuhu. Just before- the games commenced very heavy rain fell and made the grounds sodden. Despite this handicap the fixtures were keenly contested and interesting. The principal Rugby match produced a high standard of play under adverse conditions and resulted: Otahuhu, 12, Pukekohe, 6. Other results were: Rugby, second fifteens, Otahuhu, 29, Pukekohe, 0. Hockey: Girls, Otahuhu, 1, Pukekohe 0. Basketball: A teams, Pukekohe, 9. Otahuhu, 9; B teams, Pukekohe, 9, Otahuhu, 7.
