OBITUARY

MRS ELLEN WOOTTON FORM KM BOMBAY RESIDENT The deal l) occurred on Friday at Ujc residence of her daughter, Mrs A. V. Bilkey. Mangere, of Mrs Ellen Wootton, aged 80. wife of the lale Mr Charles Wool lon. Mrs Wool.lon was a .cousin of I lie famous English statesman Sir Robert Peel. Born in Lancashire. Mrs Wool Lon lefl England in 1808 with tier mother and sisters in Ihe sailing vessel Royal Dane, landing al Auckland. She married Mr Charles Woollon. formerly of Wiltshire, in 1872 at Bombay. On the death of her husband 2i years ago Mrs Wootton went to live with her daughter at Mangere. She is survived by three sons and three -daughters.
