Mr and Mrs C. Mahon and family, of* Roulston Street, who have been holidaying at Glenbrook beach, returned home on Saturday. Mr and Mrs H. T. Moore and family, of Queen Street, Pukekohe, who spent a holiday at Orua Bay, returned home last night.

Mrs K. L. Liddle and family, of Roulston Street, who have been holidaying since before Christmas, returned home last night. Mr and Mrs G. T. 1. Cowan and family, of Wellington, are visiting this district and are the guests of Mrs Cowan’s parents, Mr and Mrs Jas. Townsend, of Bomßay. Mr Mervyn Blake, second son of Mr and Mrs R. B. Blake, of Seddon Street, Pukekohe, who offered his services to the Royal New Zealand Air Force some time ago, has been notified to report to the training station at Harewood, Christchurch. Mr Blake leaves on Wednesday. For the past two years he has been in the employ of a leading cabinet and joinery firm in Auckland.
