The fair attracted one of the largest attendances of buyers ever seen at Clevedon. Competition was keen for lines from the flocks of wellknown breeders and values were in the main about equal to recent sales, hut there was not a very keen enquiry for rams. Quotations are: Two-tooth ewes, 2o s to 27s .‘ld: i and .<5-tooth ewes, j2 -a in 97s (id; mixed ages. 23s to 24., fid: six-tooth to fresh full-mouth ewes, 22s to 23s (id: poor conditioned b-year-old ewes. 1 is Ud to IDs: sound [mouth half-bred ewes, lbs 9d to 12s: two-tooth wet per. s. 9j s qq j 0 9:-j s; four-tooth wethers. 2-is (id to 2(is; half-bred two-tooths to 20s 9d: smaller. 1 (is to JBs !>d: medium, 12s to 14s (id: small, 8s to Its fid: ewe lambs.
