Heavy Rainfall for February. Evidence of the exceptionally wet February is shown by the rainfall figures supplied by the P'atumahoe school. From the day the school opened, February 5, until Friday last, 4.84 inches had fallen. The weekend’s rain will increase the figure considerably.

Display of Photographs. A call has been sent to those possessed of old photographs of the district or of old pupils of the Palumalloe school to send them to the school on Friday in connection with the 70th anniversary celebrations. ft is hoped to have a pictorial record of the school history on view.
