TRADE EXHIBIT

AN ATTRACTIVE DISPLAY MESSRS STAN ANDREW, LTD. "Visitors lo the Franklin A. and P. annual show were greatly impressed by the splendid exhibit of Ford and .Mercury cars displayed by Messrs Stan Andrew, Ltd., of P'ukekohe. The exliibil was most attractive, being displayed in a well pitched lent 50ft in length on a closely cut lawn, the front tastefully arranged with trellis pillars carrying a large curved sign, and the front lined out with white posts and rope.

The Mercury cars. Ford V-8 cars and the Ford small cars were arranged iu a setting of small potted trees and pots of rare coloured hydrangeas. The neatness of the entire display reflects credit on the exhibitor. One corner of the lejat was devoted to a display of servicing and repair equipment and the attendants describing these machines created much interest.

A new machine known as the Roto Power interested many visitors. This machine is for repairing damaged bodies and dented panels, mudguards, etc., by the use of hydraulic power. Another very expensive piece of equipment. the Laboratory Test Set. was displayed and demonstrated. This machine tests all electrical parts of a car, compressions of motors, oil pressure and vacuum test. It is a wonderful piece of equipment and obviates all guess-work in the testing of a motor.

One of Ihe famous Ford V-S reconditioned cyclmeter assemblies was exhibited. This is an exclusive Ford service feature whereby one can have an entire engine overhauled and be on the road again in eight hours. The tyre regroover attracted much interest and many tyres were regrooved during the show days. This machine regrooves a new tread on to a smooth tyre, thereby making the tyres safer from skidding and increases the life of the tyro for a small charge of 3/6 per tyre. From the interest taken in the introduction of this new service Messrs Stan Andrew, Ltd. can explect plenty of work for this machine.
