Highland Dancing at the Mercer Regatta

RAIN MARS FIXTURE STAGED IN TOWN HALL TIIE RESULTS Highland and National dancing competitions were held at Mercer on Saturday in conjunction with the Auckland Rowing Association’s championship centennial regatta.

When the programme of dances was about to begin on the regatta ground, heavy rain fell necessitating a change of plans. The Mercer town hall was engaged and a large crowd assembled therein to witness liiesc poular events. Satisfactory entries were received. Results are:—
