MATCH AT PAPAKURA PAPAKURA’S SUCCESS The Papakura Presbyterian Tennis Club met the Paparimu Tennis Club at the Church courts recently and were defeated by eight sets to six. Results are as follows: — N. Wilson lost to Malcolm. B—9:8 —9: W. Matheson beat Harrison, 9 —3: Mrs Robinson lost to Miss Brown, 4—7: Airs Noalces lost to Miss Beggs, I—71 —7 ; Wilson and Matheson beat Malcolm and Harrison, 9 —4 : Cheverton and L. Robinson beat L. Cooper and Rankin, 9 —2; H. Robinson and Chamberlain beat Kidd and Peoples. 9 —l: Mrs Robinson and Mrs Noakes lost to Misses Brown and Beggs. 4—7: Mrs S. Wilson and Miss Addenbrooke lost to Mrs Rankin and Miss P. McCall. 3 —7: Mrs Stewart and Miss Lockwood lost to Mrs Harrison and Mrs Cooper. G—7: Cheverton and Mrs S. Wilson beat Cooper and Mrs Rankin, 7 —G: L. Robinson and Miss Addenbrooke beat Rankin and Miss P. McCall. 7 —2: 11. Robinson and Mrs Stewart beat Kidd and Mrs Harrison, 7 —4: W. Chamberlain and Miss Lockwood beat Peoples and Mrs Cooper, 7 —6.
The Presbyterian B learn met and defeated the Takanini C team by nine matches to two.
