WAGES FIXED
HARVESTING IN ENGLAND Special rales of harvest pay for farmworkers in three counties have been fixed by (he Agricultural Wages Board in England, states the Daily Express of August 10, JJKIB. They are:— Cambridgeshire and the Isle of Ely. hours, and ltd an hour for overtime and Sunday work . Essex.- —103 d an hour. Suffolk. —Minimum weekly wage, plus a IF) bonus. The rates are the same as last year. In addilion the board made an order raising Hie minimum rates .if pay for labourers in Monmouthshire from .‘Ms to Mas a week.
