JOINING ROYAL AIR FORCE

MR JOHN C. PATERSON OFF’ TO ENGLAND Mr John C. Paterson, sou of Mr and Mrs J. Paterson of Opahelce, has received word that he lias been accepted for a commission in the Royal Air Force. Last week his mates in the stli and 6th forms at the Otahuhu High School presented him with a silver mounted wallet as a little reminder of happy days together. They also wished him the best of luck in his new venture. Mr Paterson has always been a popular youth among the members of the Anglican tennis club. He leaves New Zealand for England on September 22 per the S.S. Rangilane.
