Alfred Buckland and Sons. Ltd. cou- : ducted a noroe sale at Pukekohe on Friday/when almost 100 horses of all ! classes came forward. There was a large bench of buyers, and a keen demand was experienced throughout. Prices were on a par with the good v level reached at the safe a fortnight ago Young medium draughts made £45 to £sl, the latter price being paid for a gelding; aged medium draughts. £29 to £3B; young ordinary farm horses, £25 to £35 10s; aged, £lB to £24; light harness horses, £l2 in* to £22; hacks, £lO 10s to £l4; ponies, to £10; draught mares with foals af fool, £42 to £43; extra good i two to three-year-old medium draughts, £25 to .€3S; other unrboken medium draughts, £l6 10s to £lO , unbroken light horses, £6 to £8 10s.
