INCREASE IN DEATHS
The returns of births, deaths and marriages for October for Pukekohe, kindly supplied by the registrar, Mr A. H. Laybourn, show a marked increase in the number of deaths compared with the corresponding month last year. Details are, figures for October, 1935, being given in parentheses: Birth, 13 (13) ; deaths, 11 (5) ; marriages, 2 (2).
