PAPAKURA SALE.

A moderate yarding of cattle comprising mostly dairy and beef came forward at the recent Papakura sale conducted by the Loan and Mercantile; Agency Company, Limited. Store' cattle sold under good competition. Prices realised were as’follows: Best dairy cows made up to £9; fat cows and heifers, to £7 7s; 3-year-old Shorthorn steers in forward condition, to £9 12s; Polled Angus steers, £8 17s 6d to £lO 11s; cows with calves at foot, £4 to £5 15s the pair; bulls to £7 10s; yearling heifers to £4 15s; a farm mare £2O 10s; and a hack £B.
