Miss E .Rolfe has been appointed an assistant mistress at the Puni school. The many friends of Mr J. F. McArthur, who has been indisposed for some time, will be pleased to know that his condition shows improvement. Mr H. 11. Tills, formerly of Pukekohe, has been appointed assistant master at, the Maungawhau school, Auckland. Mr W. W. Ilorwell, M.A., a master at the Pukekohe Technical High School, is at present confined to his home suffering from a severe illness. Mrs Collier of Tauranga, who has been visiting her sister, Mrs R. McKibbin of is now slaying with her mother, Mrs. N. Ohlson of Pukekohe. Mr E. C. Derrick of Pukekohe East, who was seriously injured when a haystacker fell on him on December 14, 1935, was discharged from hospital on Thursday last.: Mr W. F. J. Munro, headmaster of the Pukekohe Technical High School, who is suffering from an attack of pneumonia is making steady progress toward recovery. The death occurred at the Auckland hospital on of Miss Edna Sarah Moore, daughter of Mrs A. and the late Mr Thomas Moore of St. Alban's, Christchurch, at the age of 2s years. Miss Moore is a sister of Mr 11. T. Moore of Pukekohe.
