Ex-All Black Wins Bowling Championship.
MR N. M. BRADANOVICH. CHAMPION OF PUKEKOHE CLUB. FINAL ON FRIDAY LAST. The final of the Pukekohe Bowli.ig Club’s singles championship was played on Friday afternoon between N. M. Bradanovieh and G. W. Butcher, and after a keenly contested game. Bradanovich won by a narrow margin. The new champion is the wellknown ex-All Black Rugby footballer who won his cap in 1028 and made quite a name for himself as a god kicker against the New South Wales touring team. Mr Bradanovieh played in the first and second tests but was prevented from taking his . place in the third owing to an injured knee. New Zealand won the.first test by id points to 12—four penalty goals kicked by Bradanovieh and one try, to four tries, and the second test by 13 points to 12. Tn this game the Pukekohe bowling club’s new champion kicked a penalty goal and converted two tries. His Rugby friends join in congratulating him on his bowling success.
