SHOW AT CLEVEDON.

FIFTEENTH ANNUAL FIXTURE. DECREASE IN ENTRIES. The fifteenth annual show held under tlie auspices of the Clevedon Horticultural and Industrial Society took place in the Clevedon hall on Friday last. There was a decrease in entries in every section, the biggest falling off being in the sections for roses and vegetables. This can be attributed to the fact that the weather just prior to the show was most unsuitable for the production of flowers and vegetables. The following were the winners of the points prizes:— Rose championship cup for most points in rose section: Mrs H. G. Browne. Silver cup for most points in cut flower section: Mrs F. Burgoyne. Floral artistry: Mrs E. W. Wilson. Vegetables and fruit: Mr H. Alexander. Home industries: Miss E. Wallis. Needlework: Miss M. Johnson. The champion rose in the show was exhibited by the Clevedon Bowling Club. The Awards. The awards are: — Roses: Eighteen blooms, distinct, Mr F. Burgoyne 1; twelve blooms, distinct, Mrs H. G.
