Sharp Decline in Stores and Weaners.

PRICES AT PUKEKOHE. PORKERS EASE OFF ALSO. DAIRIES AT LATE RATES. A full yarding of pigs came forward at the Pukekohe sale conducted yesterday by Alfred Buckland and Sons, Limited. Prime baconers sold readily at ruling rates, but the demand for porkers was not so good, • prices easing in consequence. As there was little enquiry for stores and weaners, values showed a big drop. An average yarding of dairy cattle sold at late rates. Beef and stores were disposed of at rates equal to those rulnig at Westfield. Quotations are:: — Pigs: Choppers, £1 8s to £2 10s; heavy prime baconers, £3 10s to £3 13s: medium, £3 2s to £3 Ts; light, £2 12s to £2 17s: heavy porkers, £2 4s to £2 8s; medium, £1 Is to £2 Is; light and unfinished, £1 9s to £1 15s; stores, £1 to £1 8s; slips, lis to 18s; good weaners, 10s to 13s; smaller, to 9s; sows, due to farrow, £2 to £2 15s; sows, with'litters, £3 to £3 10s. The average price per lb for baconers was s id to 53d, and for porkers, s id to 6d.

Dairy : Best cows and heifers, £4 10s to £6; good, £3 5s to £4 ss; others, £1 10s to £3. Beef and stores: Extra heavy prime cows and heifers, £6 to £G 17s Gd; lighter prime, £4 15s to £5 10s; ordinary cow’ beef, £2 10s to £3 15s; old and boner cow’s, to £1 15s; lightprime steers, £6. to £G 10s: yearling Jersey heifers, to £1 7s: good service bulls, 3gns to 4?gns; boner bulls, to £2.
