CIVIL ACTION.

CLAIM FOR GOODS SUPPLIED. AN ADJOURNMENT GRANTED. For the greater portion of this morning, the Pukekolie Court was occupied in hearing a civil action, in which F. Perkins and Company (Mr F. A. Hosking) proceeded against Mrs Elizabeth Baker (Mr A. M. Gould) claiming £lB 17s 5d for goods alleged to have been supplied. The case for the plaintiff was that the goods wore supplied and delivered to defendant. The defence denied liability and claimed that the goods should have been charged to defendant’s brothers.

The court adjourned the case until next sitting so that plaintiff could call additional evidence.
