DRURY SCHOOL DANCE.
A JOLLY TIME SPENT
A jolly little dance was held in the Drury hall last week. The function was organised by Misses Brooks, Gardiner and Kinlock'in aid of the Drury school funds. The hall was comfortably filled, visitors in addition to local residents, being present from Pukekohe, Karaka and' Papakura. Music was supplied by Mr. Wilson, extras being acceptably played by Mrs. Clews. Included in the programme were a number of old. time dances, which found great favour among those present. During the supper interval, Mr Rankin, who acted as master of ceremonies, voiced the thanks of the school
committee, to the ladies who had organised the function. As a result of their praiseworthy efforts the fund of the school will receive a handsome addition.

ing, Mrs H. Stoupe, Mrs R. Sinton, Mrs C. Haysom, Mrs J. Appleby; Mrs'Clews, Mrs Rickard, Mrs. W. J. Brooks, Mrs Dance, Mrs G. Hamilton.
