FACTORY DANCE.

TUAKAU, CO-OP. COMPANY. A SUCCESSFUL EVENING. The gaiety which permeated the annual dance arranged by the. staff of the New Zealand Co-operative Dairy Company's Tuakau factory last year, found merry echo on Thursday evening, when once again they acted as hosts to a large number of residents from the surrounding districts.

The Tuakau Memorial Hall had been artistically decorated for the occasion, the fourth annual, dance. Ferns, tied with bows of blue and white ribbon, adorned the walls, while above the orchestra on the stage were coloured streamers. The predominant note in the decorative scheme was the "Anchor*" brand sign displayed at the upper end of the hall. Parker's dance band from Auckland sped the hours in musical fashion. Mr E. Kahn played extra numbers and Mrs J. Coburn, of Hamilton, contributed songs. Messrs T. McNeice (secretary of the committee), R. M. S. Black, R. V. Wilcox and E. Bush acted as masters of ceremonies.
