‘ ESTABLISHED BY BOY SCOUTS.
AIR FORCE AND NAVY
TRIBUTE TO SCOUT TRAINING.
A remarkable and unique record has been set up by four boys of the Papakura Boy Scouts. Derrick and Cyril Milne are in the Royal Air Force of Great Britain, having entered after passing a stiff examination. Candidats hailed from all parts of the British Empire. The other two boys, Paul Tasker and Walter Ingham, have entered the New Zealand branch of the Royal Navy. These positions were also competitive in the Dominion. The success of the boys is a tribute to the careful and wise training received as Boy Scouts, and should encourage others to emulate their efforts.
