COMING OF AGE PARTY.

MISS EDNA WILLIAMSON. A 21st birthday party was given by Mrs N. Williamson, of Red Hill, Papakura. recently, in honour of her daughter. Miss Edna Williamson, at which the Young Women’s and Young Men’s Bible Classes of the Papakura Methodist Church assembled in good numbers. It was a very jolly little party that sal down to a sumptuous lea. A lovely cake witli 21 candles occupied a prominent place. After tea the following toasts were proposed: “The King,” “The Guest of the Evening,” proposed by Mr Fred Evans; “The Family,” proposed by Mrs J. Seaton; “The Hostess,” proposed by Mrs J. F. Martin; and “The Ladies,” proposed by Mr J. Constable. Mr Keith Williamson proved a very efficient M.G. Miss B. Evans, leader of the Methodist Young Women’s Bible Glass, presented Miss Williamson with a handsome brush and comb from 1 lie members of both Bible classes. She was also the recipient of many lovely presents. Miss Williamson briefly replied and expressed her thanks for the kind wishes spoken and lovely presents. Amongst those present were: Mesdames J. Sea lon and J. F. Martin, Mesdames B. Evans, M. McConnel, .L McConnell,- Misses Wood. I Richardson. D. Blank. M. Evans. N. Martin, M. Marlin. J. Little, W. Rhind and M. I Short.
