Rep. Footballer Injured.

Owing to an injury to a shoulder, H. Stoupe, captain of the Manukau team, had to retire in the Franklin-Manukau match at Tuakau on Saturday. Stoupe was pushed against one of the goal posts, arid although the upright was padded, he was unable to move for several minutes. A Tuakau doctor was summoned and on examination he diagnosed the trouble as torn muscles. Stoupe is an ex-Auckland representative and this season played for Drury. A few years ago he was a member of the United club, Pulcekohe.
