KNOCKED OVER BY CAR.

ACCIDENT AT TUAKAU BRIDGE

Abrasions and bruises were received by Mr V. De Malmanche, Public Works Department inspector at the Tuakau bridge works, as the result of being knocked over by a car on Thursday afternoon.

It appears that a motor-truck was parked at an angle to the approach to the Tuakau bridge, and as Mr De Malmanche emerged from behind the vehicle he was knocked down by a car driven by Mr A. H. Gaskell, of Glenmurray. The man received medical attention. _•
