THE PUKEKOHE CLUB. PRESIDENT'S TROPHY ROUND. The following players qualified for the president's trophy on Saturday:— J. McWhirter, gross 84, handicap, 14, nett 70; J. H. Eyre, 95—24—71; I. R. Jordan. * ,■: PUKEKOHE LADIES' CLUB. Canadian foursomes, with a senior and a junior player drawn were played by members of the Pukekohe Ladies' Golf Club on Saturday. The best cards returned were: Miss A. Potter and Miss McNeil, 78 net; Miss L. Potter and Miss M. Perkins, 79. The qualifying round for Mrs Mctrophy is to be played on Wednesday afternoon. The draw wili take place at the clubhouse at 1.15 p.m. PUKEKOHE v. MAUNGAKIEKIE. The following ladies will represent Pukekohe against Maungakiekie at Maungakiekie on Thursday:— Miss L. Potter, Miss Jefferis, Mrs McWhirter, Mrs Maddison, Mrs Harper, Mrs Jordan, Mrs Pike and Miss A. Potter. 0 THE ONEWHERO CLUB. _ . . The third round of the president's ' trophy competition was played on Saturday by members of the Onewhero Golf Club. Following are the results:—Tawha (22) beat Poutu, 2 and 1; Martin (17) beat McNeil (36), 5 and 4; E. Cameron (17) beat Hull (36) < 5 and 4; D. Cameron (18) beat Brownlie (24), at the 19th; Wilson (15) beat Rapson (29), 5 and 4; Rau (21) beat Taylor (22), 4 and 3; Cronin won from ' Pattullo by default; McNaught won . X, from Glasgow by default. • ::?! A medal match was played in conjunction with the president's trophy competition. The best cards returned were as follows: —Cronin, 87, 13— 74; Tawha, 98, 22 —76; E. Cameron, 93, 16—77; Wilson, 92, 15 —77; Martin, 95, 17 —78. A flag match played by members of the ladies' section of the Onewhero Golf Club on Saturday resulted in a tie, Mrs Taylor and Miss Mcßae each carrying the flag to the 19th green. THE WAIUKU CLUB. The semi-final of the Duff competition was played by members of the Waiuku Golf Club on Saturday, resulting as follows: Howden beat Morrison, 4 and 3; J. Arkle beat J. Jeri'ahij 3 and 1. " A'bogey match played by members not engaged in the above event was won by K. Flavell with a score of 5 up.
