THE FRANKLIN ASSOCIATION. SATURDAY’S RESULTS. The Franklin Lawn Tennis Association’s competitions were advanced a stage on Saturday. Results are: —

A GRADE. WAIUKU VERSUS'WEST END-HILL. Waiuku names mentioned first: — j Men’s singles: Ohlson lost to Fulton, 6—11; Smith lost to Middleton, 6—ll.

Ladies’ singles: Mrs James heat Miss Hill, 9— —4; Miss Arkle beat Miss Civil, 9 —4. Ladies’ doubles: Mrs .Tames and Miss Arlde beat Misses Hill and Civil, 9 —G; Miss Bryant and Mrs Barker tost to Misses Gathercole and Adams, 7—9.

Men’s doubles: Ohlson and Smith beat Fulton and Middleton, 11—10; Munro and Morrison lost to Parton and Wilson, 7—ll. Combined doubles: Munro and Miss Bryant beat Parton and Miss Gathercole, 9 —4; Morrison and Mrs Barker beat Wilson and Miss Adams, 9—4. Waiuku won by six games to four.
