PERSONAL.
Mr T. Bratty, of the Farmers' Trading Company is absent on sick leave. Mr and Mrs J. Millikeri and family are spending holidays at Waiau Pa. Mr and Mrs H. G. Baulf and family have returned from a holiday at Waiau Pa beach. Mr George Boagey, a former postmaster at Papakura, was a visitor to Papakura on Friday. Mrs J. Forrest, of Keri Keri, Papakura, has returned from a visit to Pukehura, Whangarei. Mr and Mrs B. C. Huckstep left for Devonport yesterday after spending holidays in the Papakura district. Mr 11. E. McEntee left this morning for Waerenga, where his firm has secured a contract to erect a residence. Mr T. Clark, of Auckland, was a welcome visitor to the Methodist church yeslerday, after his severe illness. Mr and Mrs Bert Andrew, of Wellington, have been visiting Papakura and left for home by Friday night's express. Mrs C. B. Lever, of Don street, has returned from the Auckland hospital after undergoing an operation and is now progressing favourably. Mr J. Hibbard, treasurer of the Canterbury Onion Growers' Association, who has been staying with his brother, Mr C. J. Hibbard, of Keri Keri, Papakura, leaves for Christchurch to-morrow evening.
