Mr Goodfellow's Action.

Mr W. Goodfelow has had a lot of rotten things said about him, says Farming First. It is fair that the good which can be said should be said. When reduction of salaries in the New Zealand Dairy Company was under consideration, he insisted that his salary as Managing-Director of that company should bo completely wiped out, and he is now working for nothing for thai company. He also, we understand, made a very considerable and a sweeping reduction to his mortgagors six months ago—the first big man in New Zealand to do this. We did not get this information from Mr Goodfellow or from anyone in official connection with him —all those in connection with the company are forbidden to make any statement—but we consider this matter has a bearing upon national problems and therefore communicate It.
