CHURCH CLUBS AT PLAY. MATCH ON SATURDAY. An inter-club match was played on Saturday between the St. James 1 club, Pukekohe, and the Papakura Presbyterian club, the former winning by seven sets to five. Details are, St. James' names first:— Ladies', doubles: Miss A. Scott and Mrs Fitness lost to Miss A. Wilson and Mrs McLennan, 4—7; Mrs Perkins and Miss D. Perkins-beat Misses C. Morrow and P. Brown, 7 —4; Miss N. Perkins and Mrs Shotbolt beat Misses A. Thornton and M. Hammond, 7—4. Men's doubles: T. Fausett and r\. Fausett lost, to L. K. Garlick and R. C. Garlick, B—9; A. C. Gill and R. Perkins lost to W Alexander and N. Bredin, 5_9; j. ciarkson and G, Wright beat E. Beggs and W. Kidd, 9—l. Combined doubles: T. Fausett and Miss Scott beat L. K. Garlick and Miss Wilson, 7 —6; A. Fausett and Mrs Fitness lost to B. C. Garlick and Mrs McLennan, 3—7; A, C. Gill and Mrs R. Perkins lost to W. Alexander and Miss C. Morrow, 6—7: R. Perkins and Miss D. Ferguson beat N.
