BOY SCOUTS.
ASSOCIATION GETS £2OB. DAY AT FARMERS’. As a result of the co-operation of the Auckland Branch of the Farmers’ Trading Company with the 'Boy Scouts’ Association at the big shopping day yesterday, the Association henflts to the extent of £2OB 10s. Halt of this will go direct to troops, and half tp headquarters funds. The amount for the various troops has hot yet been calculated, but it is probably that; Pukekohe will receive a substantial sum. In the competition for the prize tents, Pukekohe held second place until after mid-day, hut in the afternoon the city troops scored heavily, the latest results now. being:—
Fame Sea Scouts 1, Hawke Sea Scouts 2, Herne Bay 8.
The local troop extends its thanks to its many friends who helped them by sending in orders.
