STRAND THEATRE. TO-NIGHT AND TO-MORROW. - “MADEMOISELLE FROM AftMENTIERES.” The Strand presents to-night and to-morrow the British Gauman Company’s masterpiece, “Mademoiselle from Armentieres.” All the world knows of Mademoiselle, who now comes to the screen in the person of captivating Estelle Brady. No name was more often on the British Tommy’s tongue than Mademoiselle’s. No legendary character has achieved a greater notoriety or renown, which you will, in this generation. She was an intriguing character, and still is. According to the composer of the soldiers’ song, she was a lady of uncertain ago and doubtful virtue. It is precisely on this point that wives and sweethearts, to whom she was always a mystery, will be most curious.
