NORTHERN WAIKATO STARS. PUKEKOHE BEATS WAIUKU. ■ A short time ago the Waiuku Bowling Club gained possession of the Northern Waikato Bowling Association's challenge stars from Pukekohe, but on Saturday Pukekohe regained Ihern after a most spirited game on the Waiuku green. Details are as follow, the Pukekohe rink being menlioned first:—

PAIRS CHAMPIONSHIP. Messrs W. .1. Short and H. V. Gribble, of the Pukekohe Club, took part in the Auckland Bowling Centre's pairs championship last week. and were runners-up in their section with four wins and one loss. The section was won by Wilkinson and He Launay. .of Epsom, who heal Short and Gribble on the las I. head. VVilkinsnn and Do Launay play Moir and M. Walker, of Auckland, in the final 10-day. The Pukekohe pair registered an excellerit performance and will) a little more luck might have beaten Wilkinson and De Launay.
