BETHESDA LODGE.

ANNIVERSARY CELEBRATION

PLEASANT FUNCTION

\ very.pleasing function, in the form of a progressive euchre and dance, to mark the fourth anniversary of the constitution of Lodge Bethesda Rebekah. No. 24. was held in the Oddfellows’ Hall on Tuesday evening, when about 90 persons including members of the lodge and friends, were present. The music, which was supplied by Bro. F. Hubbard (piano)Messrs M. R Grierson and E. Parker (violins), was all that could be wished for, while the extra played by Sister Ivy Duncan was also very much appreciated. During the evening Bro. D, Fallows contributed a song, while Bro. Gaily enticed music out of an ordinary saw. Both items were applauded. Sister N. Hawke, N.G.. in a neat speech, referred to the good spirit that had always prevailed throughout the lodge and urged members to follow the good example set by the foundation members. , ' . Bro. R. Schlaepfer. in endorsing Sister Hawke’s remarks, touched on the great progress the lodge had made during the past five years. Later on in the evening a dainty supper was dispensed by the ladies of the lodge.
