LOAN OF £4OOO FOR A ROAD. A NARROW MARGIN. The following is the result of the poll taken on Monday, on a proposal to raise a loan of £4OOO for Lees Gully tn Poll ok ( new) main road: —
As a three-fifths majority was required to carry the proposal, it was defeated by the narrow margin of seven votes.
