Macßne. from the Waiuku Presbyterian charge, in response to a call t" Featherston. It was previously underslood liial Hie Rev. .Mr Stuart had been appointed successor 1.0 Hie Rev. Mr Macßae. bill it is now slated that Ihe position is that Mr Stupart fias been appointed moderator to have tiie vacancy tilled.

Kensington, who has iiii,.,l |)ie post as assistant clerk at Hie Pukekolie Borough Council office for sonic years, lias been appointed io a similar position in Hie office of the Franklin Power Board, and commoners duly on September 1. They said they were of the opinion Dial Miss Kensington would prove a valuable asset in the board's office, as she had been in charge of Hie electricity accounts of Ihe borough for some years, and had everything at tier linger tips.
