Misfortune and tragedy haspersistr ently visited the family, of which the late Mr James Clive Large, the victim of a gun accident at Excelsior, near Lithgow, New South Wales, was a member. This makes the fifth fatal accident in the family in recent years. The other victims were. J. Caddis, killed at Excelsior; A. Melrose, killed at the same place; Norman L. Romans, killed at Gunnedah; and S. Freeman, killed at Kandos. Large had only been married about a year, and a few hours before the accident he had been able to receive congratulations on the birth of a son.
