CABLE BOX BLOWN OUST. (Per Press Association.) AUCKLAND, This Day. A blow-out in an electric cable junction box at the corner of Victoria Street East and Kitchener Street last night tore up the pavement and shattered two large windows in the office of, Messrs Wynard, Wilson, Vallance and Holmden, on the corner of Harbutt buildings, then heaving pieces of concrete considerable distance. A repair gang began work on the damaged cable within an hour after the occurrence. There was no interruption in the lighting service, as the current was automatically befiected through an auxiliary circuit.
