VALUE CNF CONFERENCE. SPREAD GF KNOWLEDGE. (Received this day, 12.25 p.ra.) LONDON, November 20. Replying to an addrese of loyalty sent to him at the conclusion of the Imperial Conference, His Majesty the King dwells on the happy opportunity of renewing personal touch with some of his Ministers from the Overseas Dominions and making the acquaintances of others. The King concludes as follows “Nobody can follow so closely as 1 have done the work of successive conferences without realising the immense value of such meetings., First comes the spread of mutual knowledge of the conditions in all parts, of the Empire, and then the increase of the good feeling naturally springing from such knowledge, and lastly .the hearty desire to cc-operate in strengthening the bonds uniting us so that however distracted the world may be the British Commonwealtn shall stand steadfast undismayed.” mayed.”
