BATTY—GRANT. A wedding of great interest <o a large number of Papakura and Baraka people was celebrated in Christ (May 16th) when Mr Archer lan Batty, second son of Mr and Mrs J. oseph Batty, was united in marriage to Miss Violet Mary Grant, third daughter of Mr and Mrs Robert Grant, of Karaka. (The bridegroom was supported by his brother (Mr W. Batty) while the bride was attended by her two sisters- The Rev. W. C. Wood performed the ceremony. The church was tastefully decorated by girl friends of the bride. Miss Willis played the “Wedding March” as the happy couple left the churcH
