Notice is hereby given that at a Special Meeting of the Pukekohe Borough Council, held on WEDNESDAY, the 19th day of January, 1921, the following ■ resolution was passed, and will be submitted for confirmation at the Ordinary Meeting of the Council to be held on WEDNESDAY, the 16th day of February, 1921, at 8 p.m., at the Council Chamber, Edinburgh Street,, Pukekohe. RESOLUTION. In exercise of the Powers conferred upon it, Part XLII of “ The Municipal Corporations Act, 1908,” the Pukekohe Borough Council hereby makes by way of Special Order, a By-law under “ The Municipal Corporations Act, 1908,” intituled “The General By-law, 1921,” to amend “The General By-law, 1913,” and the “General By-law, No. 3, 1919,” jrassed by the said Council on the 28th February, 1913, and the 20th August, 1919, respectively. The purport of such By-law is as follows: — 1— To include Motor-cycles under the Definition of Vehicles. 2 To substitute the word “Vehicle” for “Motor-car” in Clause 7 of “The General By-Law, No. 3, 1919.”

3—Prohibits driving! of cattle, horses, etc., in Harris Street. A copy of the above By-law is deposited at the Council where it can be inspected free of cost during Office hours until the date of the confirming meeting. J. F. DEANE, 307 Town Clerk. CONTRACT No. 493—For forming and culverting 61 chains of Dic-key-Gleeson Road. CONTRACT No. 494—For forming 12 chains of Kohckohe Top Road at W. Gleeson’s. CONTRACT No. 495—For forming--41 chains of Waipipi to Kohekohe Top Road. CONTRACT No. 496—For forming 80 chains of Graham’s Beach to Palmer’s (Beach to Beveridge’s).
