WOMEN'S HOCKEY COMPETITION COMPLETED

Tlie result of last Saturday’s women’s hockey completed the A2 grade competition, which was won by University B with 22 points, University G being second with 18, and Otago third with 13 points. Through College defaulting to Momona B, the 111 grade competition resulted in a tie between O.G.H.S. A and College B. a play-off during the week being necessary. A play-off between Technical School A and Coluniba A in the' B2 grade is also’necessary. The following matches will commence the new competitions on Saturday

A 1 Grade.—Dunedin v llomona; at Oval 1, at 3 p.in. (Mr Scrivener and Mr Leith) ; King’s v. Tnieri. at Oval 2, at 3 p.m. (Messrs McLeod arid Todd) ; Otago, a bye. A2 Grade.—King’s A v. Moinona, at Oval 1, at 1.45 p.m (Messrs McLeod and Todd) ; King’s B v. Fern, at Oval 3, at 3 p.m. (Mr C. Hayward and Mrs E. Sonntag) ; Otago, a bye. B 1 Grade.—Dunedin v Momonn B, at 1.45 (Messrs Hayward and Scrivener) ; Momona A v. Wesley, at Ova! 4, at 3 n.in. (Miss D. Sew Hoy and Mrs E. Puddv) ;■ Otago v. Taieri, at Mosgiel, at 1.30 p.m.; train leaves 12.45 n.m (MissJ. Sew Hoy and Miss B .Milnes).
